Sweden is a welcoming and friendly country with many international students, but, as with any study-abroad destination, you must allot plenty of time for the application procedure. The first step of the process is to understand the entry requirements for masters (MSc) in Sweden. For this, you can also consult the study experts at GoSweden. We can offer you specific guidance and advice on your master's in Sweden application procedure.

The following are the general entry requirements for MS in Sweden :

  • Completed bachelor's degree from a recognized academic institution, either our home country or Swedish higher education institutions.
  • If you want to take up an English-taught master's program in Sweden and if you are not from one of the native English-speaking countries, you must demonstrate English language skills by taking any English language proficiency tests, like IELTS, TOEFL, PTE. Meet your preferred university's minimum English language score for a master's. Also, ensure that your test scores are at most two years. If you do not meet the minimum English language requirements, you must improve your English language scores and skills by taking English preparation programs at Swedish universities or other institutions.
